Check out our below Schedule of Events: Saturday, March 4, 2023 Special Talk Session Join us as we celebrate Ghana's contribution to the equality of women and girls in Ghana, expanding access to quality education, entrepreneurship, and contribution to global affairs. This program will begin with a special guest speaker and panelist of women who has contributed to Ghanaian culture in Ghana and the state of South Carolina. The session is entitled, "The Power of Social Change and Equality!" Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location: University of South Carolina, Capstone House at 898 Barnwell Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29201 Guest Speaker: Her Excellency Samira Bawumia, Second Lady, Republic of Ghana Special Guests: Her Excellency Madam Salamatu Lamido Bala Goga, Niger Ambassador to Ghana Dr. Louisa Hanna Bissiw, National Women’s Organizer, National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Yakong Vida Nyagre, Dean of Students, School of Nursing and Mid-Wifery, University for Development Studies Ibrahim Sarkin Gobir Sani Mohammed, Managing Director, Gobir Group of Companies The Honorable Francisca Oteng Mensah, Deputy Minister, Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection Mrs. Maebelle Denya Nortey, Divisional Head award winner at Zenith Bank Ghana Limited Beatrix Ama Amoah, Esq., Divisional Head Award winner at Zenith Bank Ghana Limited Mrs. Phillipa Ampofo, Board Secretary and Lawyer for Republic Bank Ghana Limited *This event is free and open to the public, but registration required.
