After selecting your ticket based on billeting needs you will select from one of the following three courses. All cadets must have their Curry Achievement. Seniors must have completed level one training. Course 1 Basic GES covering the 116,117 parts 1-2 and 3 in the Morning. Afternoon will go over GT equipment and Forced March (Ruck March) of 2 miles in full gear with litter carry with obstacles in second mile. Course 2 Map reading covering road maps, topography maps as well as aeronautical maps. Second part of the course will be orienteering with map and compass. Course 3 Start out beginner training for Mission Base Staff, working into communications (EFJs, Motorola’s and HF/ALE) and set up for Forward operating bases (FOB).
