Description
The Wilderness Coworking and Fitness is collaborating with Lauren of Ms. Seedling Co. and Yoga Instructor, Kat, to start the warm season out right. Kat will be guiding you through a slow, mindful yoga flow and Lauren will guide you through creating your unique terrarium. Combining movement with plants is a great way to ground yourself during this exciting transition of seasons! Tickets are limited so don't wait until the last minute to snag your spot. Everything is provided with the exception of your own yoga mat (please bring a mat!) and/or terrarium vessel (if you'd like to bring your own). We're so excited to move and play with some plants together. A little about Lauren / Ms. Seedling: https://msseedling.co/ Lauren is a creative who has been passionate about plants for most of her life and decided to turn it into her career at the end of 2019. At this time, she was in school and working for a plant company as a plant technician taking care of the office plants around the cities. She began rescuing plants to make some side income during the pandemic and it really took root! *pun intended* She operated this plant rescue out of her one bedroom apartment for about a year until she decided to start her own business. She loves designing interiors with greenery, helping people grow their plant knowledge, and caring for people's plants when they need help. One thing she fell in love with is teaching people how to make terrariums! She's taught several terrarium classes and is full of knowledge and patience to help you through every step. A little about Kat: Kat is a plant mom, cat mom, and yoga teacher based out Minneapolis. She completed her 200 Hour yoga training through Up Yoga in spring 2018 and has been teaching at Up since then. She has completed other further education courses and is certified to teach Yin Yoga as well. She continues to practice and teach yoga because of the community that it creates. The connection with each and every student drives her to show up and support others in learning and growing. She has experienced how the physical practice, meditation, and inquiry work has elevated her life and is passionate about sharing it with students. In Kat’s class, expect to get present in your physical body by exploring both effort and ease throughout the practice. You can also expect to have space to explore, be curious, and connect your body and mind.
