Stop by and meet the Portland Police Department Recruitment Team and learn what it takes to be a Portland Police Officer. We are planning to send several officers to the August 2023 Maine Criminal Justice Academy. At the open house, officers will discuss minimum qualifications, the hiring process and upcoming test dates. Potential candidates will have the opportunity to learn about the process, speak to officers and visit several booths where they can learn more about the many opportunities that exist within the PPD.
