Description

Every Wednesday and Saturday at 11:30am join the Koreshan State Park staff and volunteers in the historic settlement industrial area as they start the 1929 80-horsepower Fairbanks Morse diesel engine and demonstrate how the Koreshans generated electricity. The demonstration will begin in the Generator Building and conclude in the Large Machine Shop. The program lasts about 30 minutes. This event is free with park entry fee.
