The Midlands lost a giant when Vince Ford, longtime Midlands purpose-driven leader, passed away on December 6, 2022. He leaves a distinguished legacy of community service, fearless advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to underserved populations/students. For 25 years, Vince led Prisma Health's Office of Community Health as the Senior Vice President. He provided innovative, national award-winning programs that amplified his dedication to professional mentorship; improving health and wellness for underserved communities; and maintaining quality public education in the Midlands. Though the community still grieves his loss, his legacy and work must continue. It is what he would’ve wanted, and there is more to be done to improve the health and well-being in the Midlands community. We are excited to gather his extensive network of friends, colleagues, and neighbors for the Vince Ford Legacy Luncheon and Retirement Celebration on Saturday, March 18, 2023. 11:30 AM - Registration, Networking12:00 PM - Luncheon and Retirement CelebrationTicket proceeds will be donated to the newly established Vince Ford Fund at Central Carolina Community Foundation to support underserved communities.
