One Party. One Night. Three Museums. Wednesday Night Live is the new nightlife experience for professionals looking to connect in creative spaces. On Wednesday, February 22, Charlotte Is Creative and BLKMRKT CLT is pulling an #ArtTakeoverCLT during Wednesday Night Live and encouraging new and different audiences to experience these creative institutions while providing a platform for conversation and community. This is a networking and community building mixer for makers and creators of all kinds. Presented by Bank of America, Wednesday Night Live includes free admission to the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts+Culture, and the Mint Museum (Uptown) from 5-9 PM every Wednesday, as well as live entertainment or programming at one of the four Levine Center for the Arts institutions each week. EVENING SCHEDULE: 5 PM Cocktail Hour at Mariposa, Fin and Fino, and/or Aura Rooftop. 6 PM DJ and Conversations at Harvey B. Gantt Center, Mint Museum, and Bechtler. (*There will be two 30-minute intermissions to change buildings with the goal of visiting all three institutions until 9 PM.) 9 PM After Party at Mariposa, Fin and Fino, and/or Aura Rooftop. NOTE: As it is every Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m., general admission to the Mint Uptown is free. The Mint Museum’s special exhibition Picasso Landscapes: Out of Bounds is available to guests for the cost of $10 per person.
