Description

Through a discussion of research and expert recommendations, we will discuss assessment and teaching of cultural competence in CSD classes. This course reviews best practices on expanding instruction and assessment of student cultural competence in CSD courses. We will briefly review relevant materials, then participate in group discussions to determine a department-wide emphasis on developing cultural competence across undergraduate and graduate curricula.
