"My Town is dead...", Derek spat while making his sip sips on his pipey pipe by the firelight. "Why's that?" Michael pondered. "Because I'm not your friend anymore..." Derek remarked. Come and witness the end of a friendship in this ode to the Martin McDonough film "The Banshees of Inisherin". It's nominated for Best Picture, like, so we are emulating high art. It is very good art. My Town is the duo of Derek Landseidel and Michael Rogers. Derek is a teacher boy. Michael is a learner boy. Their improv is a medley of guttural sounds, frenetic pacings, and boyish mirth. In this show, Michael and Derek explore the fringes of their friendship before a live audience.
