Event Details
As our City changes, the businesses and entrepreneurs that call Philadelphia home are changing at exponential rates. Once seen as an EDS, MEDS, and BEDS-based economy, the City of Philadelphia is slowly but surely making its mark in expansion industries such as Arts & Culture, Sports, and Tech.
With this in mind, PHL GAMING aims to start the discussion on a grand scale, broadcast the potential for the Gaming Industry in Philadelphia, and learn how to support the natural community forming in Philadelphia.
Table Top Gaming
The City of Philadelphia is home to a thriving tabletop game community. Game nights at local bars are a common occurrence, and the City has three different board game cafes where patrons can access massive game libraries. At PHL Gaming, novice and advanced gamers alike will have the opportunity to explore the grand colorful spectrum that is tabletop gaming. The event will feature a local designer showcase hosted by the Game Makers Guild Philadelphia, free play sponsored by Philadelphia board game cafes, tournaments, prizes, and more.
