This is a basic to moderate technical adventure on the Blue Ridge Parkway up from Afton to Wintergreen down and back to Mission BBQ. The Ride to Cure is a shorter tour of the Blue Ridge and Rockfish Gap designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing journey with tremendous views, with just a little distance at 80 miles and curves. Travel time is about 2.5 hours. 100% of the donations received from this ride will go to support the STXBP1 Foundation. The STXBP1 Foundation is a parent-led advocacy organization. We are Leading the Charge for a Cure to epileptic encephalopathies and related neurodevelopmental disorders caused by changes in the STXBP1 gene. We are comprised of a diverse team of families and their supports, scientists and medical professionals dedicated to ending STXBP1 Encephalopathy. 100% of the funds raised through this event will benefit the STXBP1 Foundation.
