Beauty and Basketball is a unique youth empowerment seminar and basketball clinic combination. the event is sponsored by "Springing Up Well" an entity of Wellspring of Life Family Worship Center. Both programs will be available to each participate or they may choose one. Our guest basketball coach is a Certified Skills Trainer by the Los Angeles Lakers, Mr. Darius Copeland of California. Darius also played college level basketball. Darius will do drills with students such as handling of the ball, shooting along with scrimmages. Blenda Yarbro is CEO of 'Dazzle Me" which is a youth and young adult life empowerment organization. Blenda has a natural gift of inspiring and promoting. She received her early training at Barbizon Modeling/Acting and Charm School. Blenda will lead a session on building self-esteem, wellness and basic etiquette.
