You are invited to join us for our Inaugural Family Evangelization Conference, hosted by Immaculate Conception, St Elizabeth Ann Seton, and St Joseph Catholic churches at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Poteau, OK. Pope St John Paul II said, "God made us for joy. God is joy, & the joy of living reflects the original joy that God felt in creating us", and what better way for our conference to begin than by contemplating our own Witness of Joy? This conference is truly a FAMILY conference. While the majority of the day will provide families with talks and activities for all ages to engage in together, we will also feature short break out sessions designed to facilitate conversation surrounding our stages and vocations. In addition, a nursery for ages 12 months-Prek5 year olds where you can bring your child should either of you need a break. Infants under 12 months of age are invited to stay with their parents throughout the conference, although a cry room will be available should you need it. We are excited to welcome Fr John O'Neill as our keynote speaker, and have filled the day with other fun events. You will even get to "meet" St Francis of Assisi and some of his animal friends, enjoy a delicious Mexican Lunch Buffet, and join in a triumphant eucharistic procession where kids are encouraged to make a loud and joyful noise.
