March for Jesus

Description

Our campaign begins at Hubbard Park located at 999 West Main Street, Meriden CT 06451. We then walk to the Meriden Green at 77 State Street, Meriden, CT. The march is approximately 2.5 miles equating to a 47-minute walk. We first convene at the Hubbard Park location for a brief meet and greet with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ at 1:00 pm, 30 minutes prior to the start of the march. During the march, we sing praises to God and pray with people along the way, all the while reminding our city that Jesus is Lord. When we arrive at the Meriden Green, we come together for worship, pray for those who need prayer, and then pray for our city, state, and nation. The objective of this march is to remind the city of Meriden that Jesus is alive!
