Livestock will be the topic of discussion at this Women's Conservation Learning Circle session. A Grazing Specialist with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service will be available to provide information on conservation measures that can be applied on the farm. Participants will also act as a resource for one another as we discuss successes and challenges of managing livestock. A variety of livestock species and issues may be covered depending on the interests of the group.
This program will be held at the Lafayette USDA Service Center at 1812 Troxel Drive, Lafayette, Indiana 47909. (This is behind The Igloo at S18th Street and Veteran's Memorial Parkway.) There is no cost to attend and light refreshments will be provided.
