UPDATE: There will be various methods to create your coffee cup, below is the template method. Some other methods are slab building, coil building, and pinch pot building Event is hosted by Aaron and Jill Evans and sponsored by Veteran's Point a meeting place for veterans in Denton county! Please plan to attend both sessions. You will see the importance of this below... Schedule: Session 1: Building the Coffee Cup (3/11/2023) Discuss Coffee cup ideas and shapes. Learn basic handbuilding techniques. Employ these techniques with gentle guidance. Hang out with other veterans and enjoy. Light snacks and coffee provided at no charge. Session 2: Glazing the coffee cup (3/18/2023) Choose glaze(s) and design for coffee cup. Glaze coffee cups according to each individual participants design. Hang out with other veterans and enjoy the camaraderie. Light snacks and coffee provided at no charge. Coffee cups and other pieces will be available for pickup after final firing. Aaron will discuss with you current hours of Veteran's Point and work to schedule a pickup time with each participant.
