Smoky Mountain Harm Reduction cordially invites you to share in our special day! In support of families impacted by substance use, we come together every year on 2/24 for International Family Drug Support Day and our 6th Annual Harm Reduction Tea Party! This year is different as we are also hosting our 3rd Annual Radical Love Palooza "fun"draiser to help support our families on the same day. Both events will be held at Sonny's Music Lounge in Franklin, our only sober bar in Macon County! We are so lucky to have the Remenants perform a live rock and roll concert for us! This event is a family friendly event to support families impacted by substance use. All ages welcome at either event. The Harm Reduction Tea Party is from 3-5pm where we will be spending time together to assemble 3,000 overdose reversal kits. All hands on deck will be needed. Anyone can help, even kids. The more hands we have, the more succesful we will be to meet our goal! There is no cost to attend. We will be serving tea, coffee and water along with sharing delish snacks and desserts. All food donations welcome! The Radical Love Palooza will start at 7pm at the infamous Sonny's Music Lounge in Franklin, our only sober bar in the region!! We are grateful to the vision of Warren and Ronda Drake at Sonny's. It truly is a place of heathy connections and soul healing through love of people and music. Tickets are $20/pp or $30/couple and include an Italian buffet prepared by Stephanie! She's making her famous meat gravy so be ready for some mouth watering traditional italian food!! You'll also get 1 drink ticket at the Mocktail Bar, 1 ticket for the special door prize, and the live rock and roll concert. Raffle tickets are $1/each, 6/$5 or a bakers dozen for $10. All proceeds will help Smoky Mountain Harm Reduction support families impacted by substance use! We are so blessed to have the Remenants sharing their love of Rock and Roll with us!! They'll be performing from 8-10p so be ready for them to rock the house! They haven't been together since COVID, so come on out and celebrate with us, Connie Stiles and Larry Hopkins with their new incredibly talented musicians William Artrip and Duncan LeMay.
