CREDC invites you to 'Let's Build a Bridge'! As we gain incremental strides toward building a new Interstate Bridge, let's seize each opportunity to understand projected employment and materials impacts. Initial Economic Impact Analysis drafts signal net new employment at a minimum of 14,400 person-years. What's a person-year? Another good reason to attend "Let's Build a Bridge". We will take a high-flying overview of the current bridge project stats, with an Interstate Bridge Project leader. Then we'll break down some of the finer considerations of public procurement for major infrastructure projects. It's a special kind of nerdy =) --one that's important to get a grasp on now.
