Remedial Pruning Workshop and Fruit tree Care at the Oliver St Farm

Join Josh Rosenstein of Edible Eden Baltimore Foodscapes and Liz Lamb of Oliver Community Farm for a deep dive into seasonally appropriate fruit tree care and remedial pruning. Together we will assess the assorted fruit trees at Oliver Community Farm and discuss pruning styles for different types of fruit, approaches to pruning and best practices in bringing back neglected trees into production. We’ll also discuss some common fruit tree pests and diseases and strategies for management and seasonal maintenance. We will prune at least one tree of each variety to showcase the different styles.
