The Erie Heights Brass Ensemble, named for a small crossroads community overlooking Lake Erie, was formed in March 1999. They perform about 30 concerts a year. These venues have included parks, malls, churches, libraries, theaters and community and private events. Once or twice a year, the group performs an educational concert at area schools.
The Ensemble is a brass sextet consisting of two trumpets, horn, trombone, euphonium (baritone) and tuba. They perform a wide variety of music ranging from baroque and classical to the contemporary and popular including jazz and swing.
The players are all professional musicians from Ashtabula County.
The concert is free and open to the public
