Join hike leaders Betsy Hall and Skip Stuck for a night hike during March's full worm moon. Walking the trails around the cranberry bogs at Redbrook will provide open skies for a full view of the moon. The hike begins and ends in Kennard Barn with hot chocolate! In February, this hike was during one of the coldest nights of the year, so we're offering it again in hopes that those who couldn't join get the chance to in March. What to Wear & Bring: Sturdy, closed-toed shoesWarm clothes - it is windy at the bogs! We recommend covering all exposed skin.Thermos for hot chocolate - optionalWhat to Expect: 2 miles of walking around bogsRestrictions: No petsLimit 15 participantsParking: Parking will be at the Kennard Barn at 37 Farm Road, Plymouth (just off Wareham Rd.)We are adhering to state guidelines for COVID-19. Please read rules carefully before buying your ticket: • Participants must register in advance. • Participants must agree to the Wildlands Trust COVID-19 terms and conditions for outdoor programs, as provided during Eventbrite registration. • Participants must be fully vaccinated in order to participate. • If a participant or someone in their household is ill, has symptoms associated with COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 7 days, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, they are asked not to attend. • If a participant becomes ill within 7 days following their participation in the class, they should contact Director of Special Projects Rachel Bruce at [email protected] • These programs are weather permitting. If a program has to be cancelled due to weather, attendees will be notified via email the night before.
