Description

Meet Biscuit!!! We think he is a lab / pitbull mix and coming up on 4 years old. We started fostering him in April after he was brought to the shelter in March. Before us, all we know about him is that he has had 2 previous owners, and from what it seems, not the best ones :( He has had a rough past but is truly an amazing dog. He has his limitations and his owner needs to understand him well and what to expect with him. For instance, he has 2 bites on his record from his early years. We fostered him for almost 9 months and are hoping to find him a forever home because unfortunately we are moving soon. We are here to help him find a great home and will let you know all you need to know to make sure it is a great fit. A little about him: -When we first met him he weighed 100lbs. He is down to the mid 80s after some good exercise and eating habits. His past owners clearly did not walk him and feed him well. He LOVES walks...they are probably his favorite thing in the world and if it was up to him he could do it twice a day and for MILES! He loves to chase lizards in the backyard, take naps, and seriously loves his humans. He always wants to be near you, snuggling, and playing. He is the most cuddly boy ever and loves his belly rubbed and would sleep with you every night if you wanted. He is great in the home and is super potty trained and good about eating. TBH, he is super easy in the home and is great to come home to. We think he would be a great emotional support animal. -As a result of his past, he does have behaviors that make him not perfect for everyone. It takes him a while to get comfortable with humans and strangers scare him. He can seem a little aggressive but it is all fear based. Strangers in the home isn't a great mix, and if you want to always bring people into your home, I don't believe he is the dog for you. If you have small children in the home, PACC will not let you adopt him because his bites were on two 9 year olds (we have heard it is from the same event). We are trying our hardest to find him a home and are hear to answer all of your questions if you think he might be a fit for you. Please reach out if you are interested and we can chat. Best, Tyler
