Join EBMUD Ranger Staff on February 25, 2023 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. The walk will cover the history of the reservoir as one of the earliest reservoirs planned by Anthony Chabot and built by hundreds of Chinese laborers. Chabot Reservoir is vital as a standby emergency drinking water supply, a recreation space, and cultural landmark.

The walk will begin at 10 a.m. sharp and we aim to return by 12 noon.Group bookings are not accepted.Save room for others. Please let us know if you will not be able to attend.The walk will be 1.5 miles long and will begin at Chabot Park (Estudillo Ave. entrance in San Leandro). Bring water. Requirements
Attendees must live or work in the East Bay Municipal Utility District service area.Attendees must be able to walk uphill.How to Dress
