Please join local Naturalist and photographer Manju Venkat on a nature walk where the focus will be on photography of birds in particular (and wildlife that we may see). This would be an informal introduction to basics of photography. Bring your cameras, lenses or even cell phones. It does not matter how simple or sophisticated your photography gear is. Basic elements of Light, Focussing, Composition, Positioning, etc., will be discussed. Tips on post-processing of your photos may also be discussed, if that is of interest. Manju will offer some tips on what camera gear to buy if you are a beginner at bird photography. Hand held camera for the walk is most desirable. However, if your camera/lens need support, please restrict it to a monopod and do not bring tripods. Also, don't forget your binoculars!!
