The Christian Business Association of the Palm Beaches is excited to announce the following changes for 2023: we are partnering with the North Palm Beach Country Club to host our monthly events, and our guests will be treated to an amazing full breakfast provided by Farmer's Table. We are thrilled to have Billy Thompson who is known by millions for his NBA basketball career. He was a first-round draft pick for the Los Angeles Lakers where he won back-to-back NBA World Championships. He was also a standout player for the Miami Heat. As a recognized community and civic leader, he established the Billy Thompson Foundation to “Make Dreams Come True” by bringing hope and by promoting lifelong learning mindsets that produce success for disadvantage youth and families. The foundation supports humanitarian projects that seek to provide affordable housing, clean water, health services and financial empowerment locally and globally. He serves as Chaplain for the Miami Heat and on the boards of the Palm Beach North Atlantic Athletic Foundation and South Florida Bible College. Billy’s heart is to simply help people to become the Champion God wants them to be. He resides in Boca Raton, with his wife of 30 years, Cynthia Thompson. They have five children, seven beautiful grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
