Now it is the time to learn exactly where in Africa your ancestors originated. From where do your people originate? Where does your lineage begin? From which African country were your ancestors stolen? Regardless of how the question is framed, thousands of New Jerseyans are here as a result of the Middle Passage. People of the African diaspora are questioning who they are and from where their ancestors came. What is undeniable is that you are the legacy of people from the African continent. You are invited to the Greater Trenton African Ancestry Reveal Experience 2023 Information Sessions hosted by the Trent House Association (THA) and the Association for the Study of African American Life and History – Carter G. Woodson Greater Trenton (ASALH Greater Trenton). In collaboration with AfricanAncestry.com, THA and ASALH have teamed up to help you discover your African ancestry and celebrate your discovery.
