Meet at Barkley Village Parking Lot Entrance to Railroad Trail The parks and neighborhoods of Bellingham offer birders a wide array of unique habitats to explore. Join other birders each month to explore a new birding hotspot within walking, biking, or bussing distance from downtown Bellingham. This month, we will be exploring the Railroad Trail that connects a number of Bellingham’s neighborhoods and parks. Along the railroad trail is a diverse set of vegetation, ponds, and wetlands that host a variety of birds. We will meet on March 5 at 9:30 am at the entrance to the trail at the Barkley Shopping Center. There is a small gazebo in the Southeast corner of the parking lot where we will meet.
