LONCHECiTO started as a gastric love letter to my family in Peru, a way to share an experience from opposite ends of the equator. Now thanks to mi causas at Garzon Latinx I have an opportunity to share these dishes with Seattle. This pop-up is an introduction to a colonial routine that's evolved into a daily opportunity for rest and connection. Los Limeños of Peru gather in the early-evening to eat a selection of sweet and savory snacks, discussing their days or the night's plans over a warm beverage. This tradition is called "Lonche," LONCHECiTO will be giving you a mixed-latina Pacific Northwestern-raised take on these classic dishes. Come to Garzón Latinx inside the Black Cat Bar Thursday February 23rd from 5pm - 8pm and participate with us in this tradition. The Lonchecito Tasting Menu includes the Pan con Chicharron sandwich, the Ají de Gallina empanada, a glass of Chicha Morada and 2 Alfajore cookies for dessert. . This event is PRE-SALE ONLY, there will not be extra product or a PoS on site.
