The Big Latch on NoCo is back in person this year! This event is completely FREE and open to the public. Please RSVP so that we know how many people to expect on the day of the event. The Big Latch On is an event where pregnant and breastfeeding families and their support systems can come and celebrate breastfeeding while learning about area resources and support from the community. When: Saturday, April 15th, 2023 Where: Island Grove Park from 9:30AM to 11:30AM What: Informational booths, activities, prizes, and most importantly: THE BIG LATCH! At 10:30 AM local time, all Big Latch On events around the world will count and record latches. Arrive early to register and enjoy the information tables. What counts as a latch, you ask? Direct latching to breast; using a supplemental nursing system or nipple shield; expressing milk (hand or pump) or by feeding your child breast milk via an alternative method (bottle/cup). Anyone who wants to support and celebrate breastfeeding can attend. Please message us on our page @biglatchnoco with questions. Por favor confirme si puede atender a este evento. “The Big Latch On “ es un evento en que las familias que estén embarazadas o amamantando pueden venir y celebrar la lactancia materna mientras aprenden sobre los recursos del área y el apoyo de la comunidad. Cuándo: Sábado , 15 de abril del 2023 Dónde: Island Grove Park de 9:30 a. m. a 11:30 a. m. Qué: Mesas informativas, actividades, premios y lo más importante: ¡EL GRAN LATCH! A las 10:30 a. m., todos los eventos de Big Latch On en todo el mundo contarán y registrarán a los bebes y niños que estén amamantando en ese momento. Llegue temprano para registrarse y disfrutar de las mesas informativas. ¿Qué cuenta como un pestillo, preguntas? Prensión directa al pecho; usar un sistema de lactancia suplementario o una pezonera; extrayendo leche (manual o con bomba) o alimentando a su hijo con leche materna a través de un método alternativo (biberón/taza).
