Who? Second-year SUNY Sullivan students from Culinary Arts and Graphic Design programs that are preparing to enter their industries this year and looking for industry insight, contacts, and job opportunities.
What's the purpose? The students in each program have been partnered up this semester to not only work on their communication and teamwork skills but to support one another on program projects. For this event, each culinary student will create a dish representative of them. Each graphic design student will be creating a QR code to highlight their partner, themselves, and their dish for all attendees to see. Your support as an industry professional will not only allow the students to brush elbows with some great local contacts but also be an opportunity for you to meet a potential candidate in both areas of expertise.
Vibe? Casual, fun. Think industry night meets networking event.
We want you! Join us! Each restaurant industry attendee is asked to bring one dish representative of them or their establishment to share with this "potluck" approach. (Think small bites, up to 35 guests, self-service)
RSVP to Justine Hoskin by April 10th. Dish details and presentation needs will be discussed at the time of RSVP.
