Are you a high school senior? If so, you won't want to miss out on this scholarship opportunity for $1,000 to use toward career technical classes for the fall 2023 semester. This year for National CTE Signing Day WSU Tech will be holding multiple events across three WSU Tech campuses! Register NOW for this event, then join us on March 29, 2023, between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm at the WSU TECH SOUTH at 3821 E Harry St, Wichita, KS. At the event, you will receive your $1,000 scholarship certificate and sign a letter of intent to attend WSU Tech in the fall. You will also receive a limited-edition WSU Tech Signing Day hat and have your picture taken for the Signing Day live broadcast on April 20th! Don't forget to grab a picture with the big check (a FAN favorite)! Lastly, you will stop by and visit with one of our advisors to schedule your enrollment appointment. (There are a limited number of scholarships available and you must be one of the first 200 Signing Day scholarship recipients to complete ALL enrollment requirements to redeem. More details are below.) All students participating in WSU Tech Signing Day events will then be announced on April 20, 2023 during a live broadcast on WSU Tech's Social Media channels! (More information will be sent to the email provided at registration) Additional Information $200,000 of scholarships will be awarded during National CTE Signing Day events to students interested in pursuing a career and technical education at WSU Tech. If you are a high school senior and are interested in pursuing a degree in aviation, culinary, healthcare, manufacturing, design, IT, business, or police science register NOW to be considered for a scholarship. Scholarship Requirements Be a graduating high school senior for the 2022-2023 school year.Register for one of WSU Tech’s Signing Day events and receive a scholarship certificate.Be one of the first 200 students to enroll in classes for the Fall 2023 semester, prior to June 1, 2023.(1)You must be enrolled full-time at WSU Tech for the Fall 2023 semester.(2)*The Signing Day Class of 2023 scholarship is non-transferable to any other institution, including Wichita State University. (1) 200 Signing Day scholarships are available. Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to those who complete the enrollment requirements. (2) The Scholarship may only be used on the tuition and fees of career and technical education courses at WSU Tech. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships offered by WSU Tech, except for the Future You scholarship. Students must be enrolled full-time to receive the full scholarship amount. The scholarship may only be applied to Tuition, Student Fees, and Lab Fees (DOES NOT cover Books, Inclusive Access Fees, or Tools). The scholarship does not have any cash value. General education courses, required tools, books, and any other supplies are not included and may be an additional cost.
