Riverside County Department of Environmental Services and Valley Vista Waste Services would like to invite you to this upcoming workshop event in partnership with the California Restaurant Association where they will be educating those in the food service industry about the new California State Law SB 1383 and how the restaurant industry can participate in their Organics Recycling Programs. This event will feature a panel of keynote speakers from the presenting organizations which include Riverside County Department of Public Health & Valley Vista Waste Services to give restaurants the tools they need to comply with these new regulations. Senate Bill 1383 mandates the recycling of all residential and commercial food waste, also known as organics. To assist with this transition, those working in the food service industry are encouraged to attend this upcoming community workshop to help educate the path forward.
