Padmakilaya was directly transmitted to Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche by Padgyal Lingpa himself and it became the wrathful guru practice that Rinpoche practiced for decades. It was then passed on to Tulku Sang-ngag Rinpoche who, in turn, bestowed it several times at Rigdzin Ling. He authorized Lama Padma Gyatso to uphold and propagate this powerful antidote to harmful influences and emotions. A Drubchod is a group ritual ceremony that includes prayers and mantra recitations, relevant Dharma teachings and daily feast offerings (tsok). The retreat culminates with the accepting of the spiritual accomplishments (siddhis) and concludes with auspicious prayers and aspirations. Empowerment is required to attend any part of this retreat. Lama Padma will bestow the empowerment in-person only on Thursday evening, March 2nd. There will be two formal sessions and a tsok feast each day. This event will take place both in-person and livestreamed over Zoom. Partial attendance permitted. ‍Covid protocols – At this point, masking indoors is recommended, but may change depending on circumstances in the weeks before the event.
