If you’re a high school student or the parent of a high school student who is excited about college and a career after graduation, then the College and Career Expo is for you!
Join the Arlington ISD at the Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to gain insight into college opportunities and viable careers and trades available to students upon high school graduation.
Representatives from over 80 colleges like the University of Texas at Arlington, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas Tech University and the University of Oklahoma will be present. More universities are commiting each day. Businesses and resource organizations will be in attendance including the Prince Lebanese Grill, LBL Architects, Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, TDIndustries and many more!
There will be 45-minute information sessions for parents and students covering topics to answer all your pressing questions:
· College Prep
· Paying for College
· College Athletic Recruiting & Scholarships
Local businesses will conduct on-site interviews for summer and post-high school graduation positions, so it is recommended that your teen wears business casual attire and brings several copies of their resume, but this is not required.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Thanks to our partners at InspirED, a drawing for a chance to win prizes like AirPods, an Echo Dot, Fire TV Stick and Beats Studio Buds will take place. You must be present to win. Translation services for Spanish speakers will be available during the event.
