We are so excited to spend another evening in the house made of stone with all of you dancing the night away to the one and only GOLDCAP! If you aren't famililar, GOLDCAP creates poetic desert house rhythms infused with various instruments and beats that take you out of this world into the dunes of the sahara with all your friends. Local favorite Maria Tambien is opening for GOLDCAP, and our very own Amare Docere will warm up the dancefloor, so get there early, tunes will be tasteful and transcendent all night long. Having grown up listening to all different kinds of music like psychedelic rock, orchestra, armenian, arabic, traditional indian, west-african, rap, instrumental, and many others, he eventually found inspiration and a deep appreciation for traditional & folk music from around the world. Eventually he was introduced to electronic music in 2008 and decided to explore the possibilities of fusing traditional sounds with modern beats. Having picked up instruments like the electric/acoustic guitar, bass guitar, classical piano, drums and various different percussion instruments; Goldcap's vision is to deliver an organic sound throughout his sets and productions in hopes of connecting people to the cultures and knowledge of music past. Also being a fan of poetry, films, ambient sounds, traditional instruments, and the spoken word, you will often hear him incorporating an eclectic array of samples in his sets. Since then, she has been focused on polishing her skills and drawing from her diverse cultural background to curate musical experiences that are steeped in traditional and folklore sounds - from her native South America, to her parents lands of Spain, Italy and the Middle East. Her interpretation of house and electronic dance music retains an edge and flavor that is her own while paying homage to the talented producers she showcases during her sets.
