Please join us for the inaugural Frank A. Daniels Jr. Lecture with Melissa Harris-Perry to be held March 21 at 7 p.m. at Alumni Hall in the George Watts Hill Alumni Center. We hope you will arrive early to join us for a pre-event reception beginning at 6 p.m. at Alumni Hall with Harris-Perry, students, faculty, staff and the campus and local communities. Harris-Perry is the host and managing editor of NPR’s “The Takeaway” daily radio program and podcast. She is also the Maya Angelou Presidential Chair in the Department of Politics and International Affairs at Wake Forest University. From 2012-16, she hosted the television show “Melissa Harris-Perry” on weekend mornings on MSNBC and was awarded the Hillman Prize for broadcast journalism.
