Description

Participants will learn strategies to build resiliency within the program by assessing individual and organizational secondary trauma, implementing protocols that promote a culture/climate of collaboration, and identifying ways to foster resiliency within MDTs and allied professionals. As a result of this training, participants will be able to: Identify two possible effects of vicarious trauma on collaboration and effective services to victims of crime. Define what resiliency looks like within the MDT. Apply at least three techniques for coping with difficult cases and building resiliency to better serve victims of crime.
