What is Barristers' Ball? Barristers' Ball (also known as law prom) is an annual formal event hosted by most law schools to celebrate the law community. At the event you may expect music, dancing, appetizers, a photobooth, and a bar. All UCLA Law students in any degree program are welcome to attend the event. This year, we have rented out the Natural History Museum's Grand Atrium, which features dinosaurs, and the North American and African Mammal Halls. When is the Barristers' Ball? Saturday, February 25th at the Natural History Museum. The Ball will be from 8 pm - 12 am. When do tickets go on sale? Tickets will go on sale on Monday, Feb. 13 at noon. How much do tickets cost? Tickets will be a maximum of $85 each for the first 1,000 tickets. Students who have paid their SBA dues receive a $10 discount for each ticket, meaning tickets will be a maximum of $75 each for dues paying members and their guests. Dues-paying members can apply the discount by entering the coupon code "SBADues" at checkout. Dues payment will be verified by UID numbers in advance of the event. If you would like to pay your dues, you may do so here Any tickets purchased beyond the first 1,000 tickets will be a maximum of $95. What do tickets include? Tickets include two drink tickets and access to an appetizers' buffet. What attire is appropriate for the Barristers' Ball? The Ball is a formal event. Suits, tuxedos, and formal dresses are expected.
