"Ms. Annie" will be teaching a beginners crocheting workshop for our first Sustainable Arts Workshop of 2023! Annie Bryant is a fiber artist and co-founder of Bib & Tucker Sew-Op, a local nonprofit on a mission to cultivate sewing skills and a vision to be a hub for sewing activities that promote empowerment, education, and economic opportunity. Sustainability is an important principle in their programming as they feel that true artistic genius is found in those who use what they have available to them to make their work.
All supplies will be provided. This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+ and requires hand dexterity. We have a limited capacity so if for any reason you cannot attend after registering, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible so that we can offer your seat to someone on our waitlist. If the workshop is full, it will not allow you to register, but you can email [email protected] to get on our wait list.
This is a free event that is possible with support from the Alabama Arts Council's "Support The Arts" Tag Committee. You are not expected to pay to attend, although we graciously accept donations to our Studio which helps sustain our programming at Studio By The Tracks. You can purchase your own "Support the Arts" tag at www.alabamaartsalliance.org. Thank you!
