Come meet local Sammamish Valley farmers, learn about the sustainable, agriculture systems that they've put in place on their farms, along with their growing practices. Meet Your Local Farmer and Learn About CSA's, is presented by the Sammamish Valley Grange, Wednesday, March 1st. Find out what to look for in a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), or as they're also known – a subscription, share or membership food box. Many of our farmers have come through the recent pandemic with the support of their member CSA purchases. By purchasing a subscription, or CSA, at the beginning of the season you are allowing a small farm to do what they do best–feed our community and act as good stewards of the land. And, you also get the satisfaction in knowing that you're helping your local economy thrive.
Come early to the Grange Hall in Woodinville, beginning at 6 p.m. prior to the program at 7, to enjoy some social time over a bowl of soup and bread.
We encourage you to register here in advance so our chef can plan accordingly!
