Cal is the candidate for Student Visionary of the Year, while Dean is working to help support both his friend and the mission. This is a seven-week fundraising competition to raise money in support of LLS starting January 27th – March 18th, 2023. Along with a team of community members and peers, they will be working to help raise the funds necessary to benefit those who need them. They are asking friends and family to help us assist the efforts of the LLS to find a cure for blood cancer. Both Cal and Dean are currently juniors and student-athletes at Strongsville High School, members of the National Honors Society, and understand the value of helping others. They both routinely volunteer their time to support several mission projects throughout the community as well as through the high school. Whether it be working with youth sports players in the community, working at the C’s the Day Kindness Camp, being a part of my school’s Key Club, or participating in the Holiday Giving Project which supports families around the holidays, they have had the opportunity to see how time and service can make a difference in the lives of other people.
