Hello Dancers! Are you wondering why it took us so long to get this invite up? We decided to find a new location and boy did we!!!! Studio One in Lincoln, RI hosts Ballroom Dance classes and events and has graciously offered to rent their AH-Mazing space to us. Yay! Join us in celebrating community, connection and our spacious, shiny wood floored NEW SPACE with sweet beats by Tara Ma and the healing sounds of Kelvin Young! He will LOVE us up with his crystal and Tibetan bowls plus other toning instruments as we begin and offer a full sound bath after the dance music. We will end with Afterglow for more connection time and snacks. 💠✨ Studio One has plenty of FREE parking and is a shorter drive for our friends traveling in from the north. Costumes or creative attire are welcome at our dances, but totally optional. Dress how you feel! KELVIN YOUNG Kelvin Young is a certified sound healer and owner of Kelvin Young, LLC. He is also a person in sustained recovery which means he hasn't used alcohol or any other drug to cope with his mental and emotional distress since March, 6th 2009. Kelvin received his recovery coaching training at CT Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) and his Recovery Support Specialist (RSS) certification at Recovery University. (Advocacy Unlimited) He is also trained in Intentional Peer Support (IPS) and Emotional CPR. (eCPR) The first time Kelvin was exposed to sound healing, he discovered the sounds of the crystal and Tibetan singing bowls and gongs calmed his mind, relaxed his body and nourished his soul. He went on to study sound healing with Master Sound Healers, Zacciah Blackburn of The Center of Light, Paul Hubbert of the Holographic Sound and Inner Balance and Satya Brat Jaiswal of the International Academy of Sound Healing. Kelvin has also studied with Brian Luke Seaward of Inspiration Unlimited, a renowned international expert in the field of holistic stress management.
