The American Woodcock can be found this time of year performing their unique aerial courtship displays in the fields of Willow Brook Preserve. The South Shore Bird Club and Wildlands Trust are teaming up once again to offer this guided walk in hopes of viewing the Woodcock's amazing display, as well as other early spring birds. What to Wear & Bring: Sturdy, closed-toed shoes - waterproof if possibleWaterBinocularsWhat to Expect: 2 miles of walking over wooded trails and fieldsRestrictions: No petsLimit 15 participantsWe are adhering to state guidelines for COVID-19. Please read rules carefully before buying your ticket: Participants must be fully vaccinated in order to participate.Participants must register in advance.Participants must agree to the Wildlands Trust COVID-19 terms and conditions for outdoor programs, as provided during Eventbrite registration.If a participant or someone in their household is ill, has symptoms associated with COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 7 days, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, they are asked not to attend.If a participant becomes ill within 7 days following their participation in the class, they should contact Director of Special Projects Rachel Bruce at [email protected] programs are weather permitting.
