This Ecstatic Dance Ceremony is created with the intention to provide a safe space for each participant to silence the mind and feel safe to come into their body, explore energy, movement, sound, dance and express yourself within a safe space full of like minded individuals. Ecstatic dance is a form of free flow intuitive movement. It helps us to connect with what is alive within us physically and emotionally and finally provide this energy with an outlet to be expressed, processed, and integrated so that we can connect to our authentic truth, the freedom and comforts to express that truth, play, and explore just as we did when we were kids. What the night holds for you . . . We will begin our journey with Gina, together we'll play some authentic connection games to break the ice, meet ourselves more deeply, introduce our true self to others, get silly, and make new friends. From there we will flow into a movement warm up with Rich to connect with our body, imagination, creativity, and how the energy within our body wants to flow and guide us to move which will lead us into our ecstatic dance portion of the evening. We will spend the next 90 minuets within dance, play, and authentic expression Finally we will integrate all of our experiences from the evening through a sound bath journey led by Babiery. Through out the evening we will be immersed with a variety of music by DJ SC-ONE to help activate and guide us into our own unique journeys. *Dress in loose comfortable clothing, bring water in a refillable bottle. There is tons of free street parking. To help us co-create a safe space for each of us to come into our full expression we ask that you follow a few ground rules. 1. No talking on the dance floor - there will be rest areas where you can socialize if you choose to 2. No shoes - please take your shoes off when arriving at the door 3. No re-entry - we encourage you to stay in the space where the height of the energy is taking place to support a strong and safe container for deep healing work to unfold 4. Consent - Be sure to ask permission and get a clear verbal YES from someone prior to touching or dancing with them, politely respect no if that is their response.
