Girls and parents will learn more about Girl Scouts and take home a free fun patch and more information about Daisy Girl Scouts. This event is free and open to the public, girls in PreK-1st grade and their caregivers are welcome to join. To RSVP, email [email protected] or call (970) 375-7913. Together with Girl Scout friends, your child will gain the confidence to try new things, speak up in class, and even understand that what makes them different makes them shine. Each of the many activities they can choose from is designed to help them explore their world and expand their horizons. From planting a community garden to visiting an animal shelter, Daisies learn they have the power to make a difference. Perhaps it’s that knowledge that leads to a Girl Scout’s self-confidence staying strong—and even increasing—at ages when most girls’ confidence takes a hit.
