For our March event we will be teaming up with Generation Serve to volunteer at Safe in Austin! Safe in Austin rescues animals who suffer from abuse or neglect, because animals deserve to experience unconditional love. They rehabilitate and rehome the ones that are able and offer a forever home to those who have suffered enough already. Once their new rescues are healthy and trusting enough, they'll be introduced to people with similar backgrounds to provide healing and hope. You may remember Safe in Austin from Queer Eye season 6 <3 On March 11th our VU volunteers will be assisting with various tasks around the ranch such as cleaning stalls, repairing walking paths, clearing brush, and helping with other ranch chores. Get in some cow kisses or rub on some piggy bellies while helping Safe in Austin get tasks done for the day. Please wear closed toed shoes, pants you wouldn't mind getting a little muddy, and a water bottle. After volunteering, we will be getting together for a social hour nearby at Humble Pint Brewing! As a volunteer with Volunteering Untapped ATX I understand that the nature of the volunteer activity may involve some potential risks of injury. I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Volunteering Untapped ATX, its non-profit partners, directors, officers, employees and any entities affiliated with this event from any and all liability, claim, demands and causes of action of whatever kind and nature. In addition, Volunteering Untapped has my permission to use photos or video taken at the event for publicity purposes. By signing this waiver I understand it is valid indefinitely.
