How can we become better educators by examining our own identities? Join us in discussing the concept of equity and how we as educators should strive for equity in the classroom, as well as how to combat pre-existing inequities that our underserved students are facing. Participants will engage with topics such as socialization, prejudice, discrimination, and oppression. The objective is that they use this knowledge to guide them in equitable practices.
