"Nebraska Sandhills: Considering Art, Culture and Ecology of the Last Prairie" features a screening of "The Last Prairie," a documentary by John O'Keefe, Professor of Theology and Journalism at Creighton University. We'll also exhibit posters that highlight photos and insights gleaned by Mary Ann Vinton, Associate Professor of Biology, and director of Creighton's Environmental Science program, and Jay Leighter, Associate Professor of Communication Studies and Director of Sustainability Studies at Creighton. Lori Elliott-Bartle will display new collage paintings that feature aspects of the Sandhills, as well as the painting of the V|V ranch that is shown in-progress in O'Keefe's film, which will begin at 6:30 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow.
