Power The Vote NC and January 6 Project are proud to be working with Greenville Pitt County Area Section of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc. to present this program. Key note speakers include Dr. Daniel Charles Dennard, ECU’s first Black History Professor and others. There will be a panel featuring Nina Kirk, local entrepreneur, and advocate. Minerva D. Freeman, president of Pitt County, Family Development Corporation Inc, Hilda Nucete, Director of Civic Engagement at League of Conservation Voters. Greear Webb Co-founder of Young Americans Protest, and Deborah Sheppard, Community Advocate. There will also be cultural performaces in celebration of Black History Month by Tatiana Sims and “The Hype Step Crew.” Other special guest will be attending like Jumail Blount, Tia Johnson, and Andre Westin. The community is invited to join us in a joyous and educational occasion. There will be catering provided and all ages are encouraged to attend.
