Welcome to the Doubles Dirtbag Derby! This is a fundraising event for the running community in Bozeman. Teams of 2 runners will be running a mile loop course around Bozeman Beach. Only one member on the course at a time (you may strategize this however you'd like). One point per loop. See how many points your team can get in 2 hours. What makes it dirtbaggy? Oh, well there are other ways you can get points. Run the loop backwards, extra point. Bike to the event, extra point. Take a shot out of our "mystery aid station" dixie cups before the loop, extra point. We will announce the official set of extra point rules sometime before the race. Awards will be given to the top male/male, female/male, female/female, and nonbinary/mixed teams. Can you sign up solo? I mean, sure, fine. Both members of your team should reserve a spot. Donations go toward (secretly) paying for the Tuesday Night Track permit, Bozeman Run Club's website, email, and snack fund, supplies for community trail service work, as well as aid station festivities. Suggested donation is $20/team - but please still come if your bank account is in the red!
